NaturaServis Ltd. carries out biological surveys, saving amphibians, reptiles and other small animals by their translocations. The company also installs artificial temporary and permanent barriers/seasonal fences protecting amphibians, reptiles and other small animals against traffic collisions. It restores pools and other wetlands or build new ones, temporarily keeps amphibians and reptiles in tanks at the Herpetological Station in Hradec Králové (eastern Bohemia), produces and installs bird nest-boxes, insect hotels, wooden thick blocks and beetle houses/artificial habitats. Moreover it elaborates proposals for nature conservation and provides biological assessments (pursuant Czech Republic´s Act on Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection No. 114/1992 Gazette on nature conservation and landscape protection, as amended later, written assessments of the impact of the intended human intervention on plants and animals). NaturaServis Ltd. is legally allowed to intervene in the natural development of specially protected wild animals, particularly to capture them, to transfer them and to keep them in captivity - for that purpose, the company holds the statutory exceptions from the Act on Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection, as amended later, issued by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and other State Nature Conservancy authorities.
The activities are implemented in compliance with binding expert opinions on interventions into nature and the landscape issued by the State Nature Conservancy authorities.
