In co-operation with the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, NaturaServis Ltd. has been implementing a project on developing and testing facilities, i.e. vessels for temporary keeping of Specially Protected wild plant and animal species. The project is funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.
The vessels are located on the land plot owned by NaturaServis Ltd. in Hradec Králové. For that purpose, area covering 846 m2 was allocated. In 2011 – 2012, 80 vessels were built there, used for temporary wild plant and animal keeping. Two small garden pools from hard plastics have been also available for local wild amphibian there.
During the project implementation, NaturaServis Ltd. has been testing materials for production of vessels used for wildlife keeping, various types of the equipment and artificial habitats preferred for various wild plant and animal species (water plants, amphibians, reptiles and small mammals) there. The project was launched in 2011 and will be finished at the end of 2014.
